Welcome to The Gap Amateur Swimming Club
– A Great Way to Spend Your Friday Nights
The Gap Gators Swim Club operates during Terms 1 and 4 each year, and we are always excited to welcome new families to our friendly and inclusive club nights, held every Friday evening at The Gap State School pool. With a warm community atmosphere and a focus on fun and participation, our club offers an enjoyable way to wrap up the week for swimmers and families alike.
Club nights begin with a relaxed family free swim from 5:30pm, followed by races where our more experienced swimmers strive for personal bests. New members are always welcome, and we offer a free two-week trial so families can see what we’re all about. We welcome children aged 4 through to teenagers from all local schools.
When you join you will receive either a club polo shirt or swim cap. Our canteen provides a variety of affordable dinner options including sausages, burgers, nachos, noodles, drinks, and snacks—making Friday night meals easy and enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming you poolside!
